ASIS’ sponsorship agreement with SecurityMiddleEast.com

Dubai’s chapter of ASIS International, the leading organization for security professionals worldwide, has entered into a sponsorship agreement with SecurityMiddleEast.com the leading dedicated online resource offering regional news and product information for the security industry across the Middle East.

Complementing the publications of ASIS International such as Security Management magazine and Dynamics Security Newsletter, SecurityMiddleEast.com online will promote ASIS Dubai chapter’s events, news and activities to further reach the security professionals in the UAE and across the Middle East region.

John Cowling, ASIS International’s Assistant Regional Vice President covering the Dubai and Abu Dhabi chapters confirmed the sponsorship agreement at the Dubai chapter’s 10th Anniversary celebration dinner held recently and stated that

SecurityMiddleEast.com online provides the Dubai chapter with access to an additional 30,000+ security professionals, many of whom we hope to attract to participate in ASIS UAE and regional events, training and certification”.

During the 10th Anniversary dinner sponsored by Nedap, the Vice Chairman, Peter Page, CPP received foundation members who signed the 2005 chapter petition and presented a leadership award to the foundation chairman, Dr Abdullah Al Hashimi, of Emirates Group Security in recognition of his dedication and support in his role as chapter chairman from 2005 until today. Recent ASIS board certification recipients, Julius Fomban, PSP, CPP and Tamer Hasham, CPP were presented with their CPP lapel pins from the dinner sponsor, Joost van der Willik, Managing Director of Nedap.

The Dubai chapter of ASIS International holds networking and training events on a regular basis with their next meeting scheduled for Monday 14th December 2015 at Emirates Training Centre, Garhood with up to date information posted on their website www.asisdubai.org
